What's With The Weekend?

Usually during weekends I spend my time here in our barbershop, specially during Saturdays, because I'm the cashier for the said day. I've requested my Mom to give Abeth a day off so she too can relax.
I'm very willing to give my time here in our shop since I get to receive a "decent" salary (it's been months already), I might as well do my part, and I just like to watch for the shop (I get to observe or watch people, which is something I am very fond of and oh, not to mention the internet connection). :D

On Sundays, I usually do some practice on my driving during the morning with my Uncle or, I get to clean my room. And on the afternoons, I spend my time with my parents playing Bingo. Hehe...

Though yesterday, I was quite surprised that my high school friends came to visit me here in the shop. Well they invited me days ago that they want to meet up with the group, since it has been years since we last had one. Actually, we have a lot of things to catch up to... but I just couldn't leave my duty. Oh well, good thing they thought of visiting me... I'm glad they did went yesterday.
*Thank you to Lovely, Noreen, and Karla. Thank you so much for coming. And oh... I'm glad that I finally get to meet Lovely's boyfriend, Michael.

My friends and I had dinner last night, since it is the only time I get to leave the shop during Saturdays. I treated them for a barbecue dinner at Fly Over Buhangin (my favorite barbecue place here in Davao). Somehow I felt like the time wasn't enough, so I'm kinda expecting that we'll have another round of bonding next week. :D

Earlier (morning), I watched Manny Paquiao and Oscar dela Hoya's fight at SM Cinema with my parents. Congratulations to Manny Paquiao for doing such a great job.... also to dela Hoya for being a good sport.
I think the Golden Boy really have a good chance of defeating the People's Champ... I just think that he wasn't confident and he was pressured on how the match would end. Naunahan siya ng takot at kaba. ...But it doesn't mean that I gave my bet to dela Hoya. Of course, I went for Paquiao's side since he deserve to be supported... the hard work, the pride that he gave for the Filipinos, and because he is a Filipino. Somehow I felt bad for those who took the side of dela Hoya... but anyway, everyone is entitled of their own opinion and choice. The fight wasn't bad... but somehow I wanted to see more action...

This weekend has been fun, but right now, I'm worrying about my test and exam for tomorrow. hehe. I still have to do a lot of review later. Wish me luck!
